Heston as a team has been around in its current form since 2008 and since then many players have passed through its doors. In its earliest form (pre 2008) the Heston way was to have a good night out with your mates on a Saturday night and then get up and play football with your friends on a Sunday morning.
At the time of the Heston resurrection in 2008, the guys were looking for a slightly more serious approach to Heston Life, training well together as a group of mates and working on things to be put in to place on a Saturday morning, having a good laugh doing so and then back to The Bar for beers and festivities.
The main difference about Heston than other clubs I’ve played for is that it is ours. You fight for the shirt and for your teammates because it’s something that you are part of, something that you’ve created. The people you play with share your desire to win, because like you they are part of the club and contribute to it.
